Healing Leaky Gut – 3 Approaches and Which Is Best
There are many different approaches to healing Leaky Gut Syndrome. Not that there is a right one or wrong one but some work better and more efficiently than others. I often get questioned as to how I get such amazing results with Leaky Gut Syndrome. Honestly, the answer is in my holistic approach. In all of my study and research, it has been the best and most efficient way to address healing the gut.
The Conventional Approach to Healing Leaky Gut
You see, intestinal permeability isn’t even recognized yet by conventional medicine. Instead of digging down and getting to the root cause of your chronic symptoms and conditions, conventional medicine typically uses various drugs to mask the symptoms that you are experiencing and then more drugs to mask the side effects of the first drugs they prescribed. It soon turns into a snow balling effect and you end up feeling the same or worse than you did originally.
This is because the problem still exists and is getting worse even while on medications to suppress your symptoms. The intestinal lining continues to degrade. And new and more extreme symptoms begin to present themselves.
As you can see, this approach doesn’t provide true results. It typically provides only short term symptomatic relief. As the damage continues the medications provide less and less help. Medications are then increased over time in amount and number in order to get the same results. But these results never last. In the end your health becomes worse than ever and your symptoms become uncontrollable and you are left to suffer.
The Natural Approach to Healing
There are many natural doctors that do recognize leaky gut (increased intestinal permeability) and the epidemic impact it is having on the population. They do understand that this is the root cause of so many of your chronic symptoms and conditions. And they incorporate more of a natural approach to healing with the use of natural supplements instead of synthetic drugs and medications.
This is a step in the right direction but it still doesn’t get to the root cause of the problem for the majority of sufferers. Natural supplements can be used to control and help relieve symptoms but the real solution goes much deeper than supplements alone.
Again, even this natural supplement approach doesn’t provide true results. The intestinal damage did not occur because you have a supplement deficiency.
The Holistic Approach to Healing
By far, the most comprehensive approach to healing leaky gut is a truly holistic one.
Holistic health deals primarily with treating the person who has the symptom or disease instead of treating the symptom or disease that has the person.
You see, we are too often focused on getting relief from our symptoms that we view the symptom as the problem. In reality, they are only signs or signals from your body telling you that something isn’t right. The real problem is that you have become out of balance. If balance is restored, then the symptom or disease simply cannot survive in a healthy body.
The real key is to supply the body with everything it needs to return to balance. That includes a proper leaky gut diet, lifestyle factors, and then only the necessary supplements to speed up the healing process.
Remember, it is because of your past diet and lifestyle factors that have got you into this predicament in the first place. And it is only an improvement in diet and lifestyle factors that can truly get you out of it. Then natural supplements can be used to effectively speed up the treatment process.
Healing Leaky Gut is simple, easy, and effective when using a holistic approach. You are not in poor health because of a lack of drugs, medications, or supplements. It just doesn’t work that way.
